Graphic Designer, Apparel
Location: Hybrid in Beaverton (Onsite Monday Thursday, Remote Friday)
Duration: 6 Months, potential to extend
Pay: up to $37/hour, DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our well known retail brand on a 6 month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR.
This role requires an amplified level of passion, creativity, versatility and communication to contribute to and fully support the graphic design team.

Planet Interactive is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our well known retail brand on a 6 month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR.
This role requires an amplified level of passion, creativity, versatility and communication to contribute to and fully support the graphic design team.
Responsibilities:
- Help support graphic strategy and vision while working with multiple teams of designers, developers, and product managers to deliver creative apparel products
- Aid with a variety of task that support the creative vision of the Brand + Department
- Build and manage graphic schematic and production files
- Build tools for presentation and key review gates
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to cascade information and updates across all functions and formats.
- Meet deadlines, stay within budgets, ensure feasibility of designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Design, Art or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience and training.
- 5+ years of graphic design experience in an agency, in-house setting, or closely related role in product creation.
- Proficient in Adobe CC and comfortable working within new digital spaces.
- Knowledge of apparel product creation.
- Passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends, as well as visual culture.
- Ability to adapt to change and balance multiple, contending priorities.
- Professional visual and verbal communication skills.
- High level time management skills.
- A proactive approach to the workspace.
- Passion for design craft, innovation, graphic applications, prints, processes and tools.
- Ability to embrace diverse points of view while encouraging an environment of inclusivity.
