Job Details
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of grant processes including research, proposal writing, submission, administration, and reporting.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all relevant regulations and guidelines related to federal grants, particularly in the construction industry.
- Develop and manage contract budgets in compliance with grantor requirements and organizational policies.
- Ensure accurate and timely grant reporting to all funding sources.
- Collaborate with the finance team to integrate grant requirements into the organization's overall financial planning and reporting.
- Monitor grant expenditures to ensure funds are utilized in accordance with grantor stipulations.
- Use HHS Accelerator and other relevant software for grant management and reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with funding sources, responding to inquiries and keeping them informed of our progress.
- Provide guidance and training to other staff members on grant compliance and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management, preferably working at a nonprofit.
- Proven experience with HHS Accelerator, grant reporting, federal grants, non-profit accounting, and HUD.
- Detailed knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and federal grant regulations.
- Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to develop and manage budgets.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial staff and funding sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
