Grants and Gifts Coordinator - Cal Farley's Boys Ranch

About the Job
Responsible for developing and managing grant proposals to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and other institutional funders. Maintains professional relationships with funders and supports fundraising goals through grant writing and reporting activities. Serves as a backup for gift processing, providing critical support to ensure accurate and timely handling of incoming gifts during peak times or staff absences.
Requirements
1. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in an appropriate field is preferred. Three or more years professional experience in a related field may be substituted for a degree.
2. Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing.
3. Exceptional communication skills in a variety of settings to include informal meetings, written correspondence, and telephone calls required.
4. Exceptional and proven customer service and/or high-end sales skills strongly preferred.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.), with a strong emphasis on Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
6. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
7. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
8. Must be at least 21 years of age.
9. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
