About the Job
- Grants and Contracts Analyst will manage assigned contract portfolios from contract registration to closeout
- Plan, organize, and prepare for timely processing of contract vouchers, billing packages, and submit reports to funding sources
- Liaise with colleagues to coordinate staff allocation changes and ensure changes are implemented in accounting system, and prepare staff allocation reports for review
- Analyze, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts by program
- Verify that reimbursements are not more than contract amounts
- Ensure that contract revenues and expenditures are recorded in the appropriate general ledger accounts
- Initiate timely follow-ups on outstanding accounts receivable balances and responds to requests with grantors
- As a Grants and Contracts Analyst, you will assist in ensuring that department project completion deadlines are met
- Create and prepare Excel schedules and control reports
- Assist with individual program audits and year-end audit
- Provide forecast and analysis for assigned programs and potential new fundings
- Provide budget narratives for assigned programs/new budget preparations
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractor contract compliance, invoicing, payment, and reporting
- Generate and analyze reports using Excel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Strong understanding of grants and billing practices and laws within a non-profit environment
- Software knowledge of advanced Excel and Passport
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
