Position Summary:
Are you passionate about managing finances with precision and care? We are seeking a Grants and Contract Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our contract and grant portfolio. Collaborating closely with program staff and Principal Investigators (PIs), you'll oversee post-award financial functions, providing essential support to our research initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities / Duties:
- Financial Management: Handle all aspects of post-award financial management, including budget oversight, expenditure tracking, and revenue management for our portfolio of contracts and grants.
- Collaboration: Work closely with PIs, program staff, and various departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and planning.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute financial reports as required, keeping stakeholders informed of budget status and expenditure projections.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, to uphold the integrity of our financial operations.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for financial inquiries, providing guidance and support to faculty, staff, and external partners on financial matters.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records and files in accordance with organizational policies and guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and knowledge-sharing to achieve common goals.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of financial, grant administration, or budget management experience required, preferably in healthcare or non-profit sectors.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
