Position: Part-Time Hybrid Bookkeeper (Temporary to Possible Hire)
Hours: 20 hours per week
Location: Primarily Remote, occasional office work (once a week)
We are seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper with experience in grant management to join our team. This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly invoices and oversee payments
- Invoicing - Accounts Receivable:
- Manage accounts receivable
- Allocate staff timesheets for grants
- Grant Administrative Tasks:
- Review grant finances and ensure compliance
- Track grant fund balances and deadlines
- Support annual grant audits
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum five years of work experience, with at least three years in grant management
Qualifications:
- Experience managing complex grants
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local funding requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct)
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
