Job Description:
- Serve as a dedicated, deadline driven member of the administrative team.
- Assist with the execution of BILT's strategy, taking direction from C-Suite and also working independently and productively to deliver relevant, quality, and timely submissions.
- Identify new grant funding opportunities and manage current grants.
- Write, submit, and manage numerous grant proposals.
- Furnish prospective funders with supporting documents.
- Collaborate with C-Suite and/or other Managers as part of fundraising, annual appeals, and sponsorships.
- Collaborate with C-Suite to produce an annual report.
- Act as a team player and assist with other duties or projects as assigned.
- Other duties as required!
Requirements and skills:
- Proven work experience as a Grant Writer or similar role.
- Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals.
- Great with MS Office Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF.
- Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources.
- Exceptional organizational, writing skills, project management, and discipline to get the job done well.
- Bachelor's degree in creative writing or related field.
- Ability to efficiently and expeditiously work with minimal to no supervision and utilize available resources and creativity and initiative to seek out the rest of the info.
- Motivation, can-do, self-starter abilities ARE ESSENTIAL.
Pay is based on experience. This is a hybrid role with some onsite work in our Woburn location required. We are looking for someone who can commit to 10-20 hours per week, performing relevant and critical (deadline-driven) tasks.
