Position Summary
The Grant Writer and Researcher is responsible for researching and applying for new grant funds, helping to coordinate site visits for potential funders, and tracking/reporting on all grant funds applied for throughout the year. This position reports directly to Executive Management and seeks grant funding opportunities that support the company, vision, services, and programs to increase their capacity throughout the communities served in Palm Beach County.

- Overall responsibility for the day-to-day managing and applying to grant applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct management oversight and maintenance of grant calendar; actively applying for funds throughout the year to support program sustainability and organizational capacity building.
- Develop and maintain all timelines for grants and projects reporting to Executive Management to fulfill the mission.
- Ensure that all grant applications have been thoroughly researched for accuracy and are a cohesive fit the mission, vision, and programs.
- Manage overall tracking new funding opportunities throughout the fiscal year; adding to the grant calendar as new funding opportunities present themselves or programs and initiatives.
- Create and revise all organizational operating/program budgets and materials as needed per Foundation's funding guidelines and criteria with direct assistance from Executive Management.
- Communicate with Executive Management upon grant approvals for the next steps and site visits, helping as needed.
- Help build relationships with potential Foundation partners; help coordinate site visits via email with Executive Management.
- Help Executive Management create social media and Newsletter "Thank You" post for Foundation partners upon funding approval, acknowledging their financial contribution per their guidelines.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in grants writing and grant funding business development
- MS Office Suite skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
