About the Job
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Strategic Planner and Grant Writer/Editor helping to coordinate the CTSI hub renewal and training grant applications. This position’s scope includes all CTSI branches, with specific responsibility for training grant applications and key areas of the hub proposal.
**Supervision and Direction Received:**
Receives minimal direction from the CTSI Co-Directors, Senior Director, CTSI Administration, and Operations Director of the Research Education Branch in the CTSI. Reports to the Senior Director, CTSI Administration.
5-17 hours/week (as needed).
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Project Communication:**
+ Facilitates the alignment of key stakeholders of various leadership levels across the enterprise in defining a common understanding of the goals and objectives to be executed for each project. Facilitates project meetings using effective meeting techniques for objectives, agendas, participants, and meeting minutes.Works with a high level of autonomy on complex projects
+ Meets established deadlines, and motivates project team members to do the same. Maintains flexibility and professionalism while managing competing priorities.
**Grant Writing:**
+ Generates high-quality data tables, biosketches, narratives, and supporting documents in response to solicitations. Summarizes existing data and presents it in a prescribed format to support grant proposals and reports. May research and collect data to support grant proposals and reports.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor's degree in a public health sciences or a related field.
+ 2 years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience.
+ Demonstrated proficiency in writing and editing content based on target audience, with ability to provide context and/or reshape material as needed in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
+ Extensive computer literacy; excellent communication (including written communications), presentation, analytical and problem solving skills
+ Detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage projects.
+ Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills; comfortable talking to all levels of faculty/staff, and in front of groups.
**Preferred:**
+ Background in scientific research and knowledge of academic medical centers

**Pay Range**
Pay Range: $28.27 - $39.57 Hourly
_The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._
