The Grant Writer will report to the Senior Grant Manager and play a critical role in securing funding to support Raise the Future's mission. This position is responsible for developing compelling grant proposals and detailed reports for foundation, corporate, and government funders. The role requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure accurate, timely submissions. - Develop, write, and edit grant proposals and funding requests tailored to donor requirements.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely grant reports that highlight impact, successes, and challenges.
- Collaborate with program, finance, and development teams to gather information, data, and outcomes for proposals and reports.
- Serve as the liaison between internal teams (programs, finance, and development) to coordinate all aspects of grant proposals and reporting.
- Maintain organized systems to track grant deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with funder guidelines, including submission timelines and content accuracy.
- Research and identify new funding opportunities, including foundation, corporate, and government grants.
- Attend funder meetings, interviews, and receptions as needed.
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
