Schedule: M-F 8:30AM-5PM varied, including evening, and weekend hours
Hourly rate: $30.77 - $35.90 an hr
Type: 12-month, Contract to Hire
Start: January 2025
Overview:
A top-ranked research university is currently searching for Grant Finance Administrator to provide support to pre-and post-award research financial activities in the division of classical hematology which will include support clinical trial budgeting, revenue and expense tracking, invoicing/accounting , if you are interested please apply !
Responsibilities:
- Will support clinical trial budgeting, revenue and expense tracking, invoicing/accounting
- Responsible for collecting and reporting finance updates to division leadership including Continuous Learning and Training, Salary, and SOX reports.
- Will work collaboratively with division staff and investigators to collect and report financial data and will provide regular and routine analysis of the divisions research finances.
- Completes special financial projects as requested by division.
- Duties include budgets in collaboration with study teams, negotiate budgets with sponsors, establishing finance tracking for clinical trials, ongoing assessment of tracking systems, weekly invoicing and ongoing financial reconciliation.
- Running reports and analyzing financial data for the division.
- Meets with division coordinators/administrators regularly to review reports, support budget preparation, and identify changes in activity to increase productivity as necessary.
- Bachelor’s or Associated Degree or equivalent work of > 2 year experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience applicable experience such basic accounting functions such as invoicing, general ledgers, budgets
- Strong computer skills and proficient with variety of office software, including Excel.
- Attention to detail, conscientiousness for accuracy and completeness as well as perseverance in order to maintain accurate and current reports. Demonstrates proactiveness to prevent problems and maintain financial solvency.
