Responsibilities:
Our construction equipment group is seeking a full-time Inside Product Support Rep - Telemetry person for our New England region. This position will report directly to the Regional Director of Product Support and will consist of managing Connectivity, Contracts, and Campaigns for the New England region. Primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:
- Maintain weekly up to date tracking update for all machines under Preventative Maintenance Contracts (PMC)
- Ensure all Product Updates are added and removed into company software program Along with being set up to provide reporting.
- Repair and Maintenance Contracts (RMA) tracking of active and expired contracts are loaded and removed into the company software program as needed.
- Work closely with product Service Support Representatives (PSSR) on sold PMC and GMT contracts.
- Monitor expiring PMC and GMT contracts, with follow-up customer communication to renew the contract.
- Using company supplied and customer tracking programs. Weekly Preventative Maintenance tracking sheet, Livelink, OEM Fleet Maintenance.
- Suppling all relevant PM/Tracking information to all Service-related employees, i.e., Service Dispatchers, PM Techs and Service Admins
- Be the point of contact when questions arise with any PM's, related to completed service, future PM's.
- Recommend solutions for all PM related questions or inquiries.
- Able to research all products sold by Alta, service intervals and decipher all relevant time information.
- Activate all new machines in related telematics.
- Ability to work with all departments within Product Support.
- Maintain 100% OEM safety/update campaigns.
- Load JCB machines in Livelink sold to a specific customer, maintaining all movements in/out of State.
- Monitor and Manage Livelink health alerts for all registered machines to included in telemetry programming.
- Working with Corporate Sales/Finance teams to ensure all new machines are enrolled into Livelink.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be proficient with MS Office with emphasis on Excel. Specifically, pivot tables, V-Look up tables, sorting, filtering & formatting.
- Must have good technical writing skills for internal and external customer communication.
- Working knowledge of construction equipment maintenance, intervals, and equipment nomenclature
- Working knowledge of construction equipment telematics and downloading telematic files
- Install data of rental equipment into manufactures (telematics)
- Able to present reports and graphs to upper management and in a group setting.
- Ability to comprehend construction equipment preventative maintenance documents as they apply to specific construction equipment.
- The ability to work well with internal departments and external customers.
- Problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Maintain and manage database of OEM product updates within business system.
- Understanding oil analysis reports and interpretation comments
- Ability to multitask daily, grow the business and support all service departments.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Physical/Sensory Functions: Occasionally will stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; Regularly will sit, use hands, talk/hear.
- Vision: No special vision requirements.
- Lift and/or Move Functions: Frequently will lift up to 10 pounds
