**Job Summary**
Fluke is seeking a results-oriented, motivated individual to join our Calibration Sales team as a DoD Base Business Strategic Account Executive. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and expanding key relationships with DoD customers and driving sales growth across U.S. territories through collaboration with Territory Sales Managers. As a strategic sales professional, you'll implement targeted sales strategies, foster customer relationships, and deliver superior customer service for Fluke's leading calibration solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Sales Growth for DoD & Territory Accounts: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive demand and secure new business, focusing on DoD accounts and increasing market penetration in assigned territories. Collaborate with local partners to expand market share and deepen territory coverage.
+ Promotion of Calibration Solutions: Present Fluke's comprehensive calibration solutions-including hardware, software, and services-to DoD clients. Offer expert guidance and demonstrate product capabilities to address the operational readiness needs of end-users.
+ Strategic Account Planning: Create detailed business plans to meet revenue and profit goals for DoD and territory accounts. Identify new business opportunities proactively and cultivate existing accounts, addressing technical needs and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
+ Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with senior DoD decision-makers through strong communication and proactive follow-up. Use Fluke's CRM to document activities and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and technical support teams to understand customer needs, respond to proposals, and conduct training. Maximize customer satisfaction and Fluke's support capabilities.
+ Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Track sales activities, develop monthly forecasts, and report on performance to maintain alignment with company objectives.
+ Remote & Field-Based Sales: Operate from a home office, with regular travel (50-70%) to customer sites within the assigned territory.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
+ Minimum of 5 years in sales, preferably within Government Sales
+ Knowledge of calibration (e.g., electrical, RF, temperature, humidity) and strong communication skills preferred
+ Proven track record in strategic account management, ideally with large accounts or DoD program sales
+ Ability to travel within the U.S. and pass security clearances for high-security locations
+ Highly organized with strong planning and problem-solving abilities
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Proficiency in CRM systems like Microsoft Dynamics and data analysis tools such as Power BI
+ Experience managing channel and distributor relationships
+ Knowledge of metrology (PMEL or TMDE certification a plus)
+ Experience in cross-functional roles within business units or factory settings
+ Proven ability to engage high-level internal and external stakeholders
