EY is ready to help our government build a better working world. **The opportunity** The Service Delivery Center is made up of high-performing, US-based resources who work closely with our experienced professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our federal clients. The Service Delivery Center is a core component of the Government & Public Sector practice (GPS). This position assists the Business Transformation team with delivering transformation strategy, business design, and transformation execution solutions to clients through. You’ll monitor progress; track project finances, risks and issues; and confirm that key stakeholders are kept informed about the progress and outcome. **Your key responsibilities** + Responsible for the day-to-day management of projects, including milestones, resources, finances, leveraging designated project methodology and tools, and making certain of appropriate level of status communication + Initiate the creation and development of project scope and schedule + Assist in managing resources, communications and cost management of projects and programs + Demonstrate the ability to effectively negotiate priorities across multiple groups and teams + Communicate any project or resourcing roadblocks to leadership + Help develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders beyond IT services, including, but not limited to, finance, communications and legal, to cover all potential downstream implications of projects + Assist in identifying and implementing improvements and resolutions for all projects + Responsible for measuring project performance using appropriate ATTG tools and techniques to monitor the process of projects or subprojects and identify and quantify any variances + Meet project expectations defined by pillar leads and project stakeholders + Identify, communicate and address project risks, assumptions and constraints + Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness and leading, mentoring, training and motivating to facilitate cooperation among teams **Skills and attributes for success** + Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills + Strong analytical mindset in terms of taking abstract questions and issues and structuring them into manageable, specific work streams + Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic + Strong project management skills + Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical and able to work under pressure **To qualify for the role, you must have** + A bachelor’s degree in, Finance, General Business, or MIS with a business focus + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level clearance or higher + One to three years of experience in project delivery and complex program management + Knowledge of integration plans, integration reports and test procedures + Experience scheduling and delivering implementations that include multiple components with tight interdependencies between those components + Demonstrated project and program management skills in a cross-functional coordination role + Broad knowledge of the IT function and how IT enables business through effective and strategic planning, governance and management disciplines + Flexibility to travel up to 20% **Ideally you’ll also have** + Experience working in the Government and Public Sector services or the professional services industry + Experience working with executive IT or business leadership + Knowledge of standard IT methodologies and processes, such as PMBOK, Prince2, Six Sigma, CMMI, product management and systems development life cycles + Relevant industry certification (e.g., PMP, Agile CSM, SAFe) + An understanding of master scheduling and integrated project planning + Experience with enterprise PMO and Lean PMO setup and operation **What we look for** Top performers with track records in the following areas: + Practitioners applying PMI disciplines for project and program management activities + Experience in the Government and Public Sector industry with a focus on enterprise transformations + Great communication skills, both at the personal level and in professional settings + People-oriented individuals who are reliable, resilient and responsive **What we offer** We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $50,800 to $103,600. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $61,000 to $117,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
