FFC specializes in Government and Grant Consulting, offering comprehensive support to Government entities, Non-Profits, Non-Government Organizations, and Large and Small Businesses. Our services include tailored grant proposal development, specialized training, software testing, grant writing, capture management, and proposal writing.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Proposal Writer/Manager to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical approach and expertise to Information Technology-related, Environmental, Construction, Medical, and Engineering RFP/RFI responses, advising on key personnel and allocation of labor based on requirements, reviewing key personnel resumes and advising on qualifications/expertise, and conducting research as necessary for RFP/RFI. This position requires availability during client meetings from 9:00AM - 5:00PM EST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical approach and expertise to RFP/RFI responses in various industries.
- Advise on key personnel and allocation of labor based on requirements.
- Review key personnel resumes and advise on qualifications/expertise.
- Conduct research as necessary for RFP/RFI responses.
- Participate in team meetings with clients.
- Prepare Kick-Off Presentations, Compliance Matrix, Proposal Schedule, and Templates.
- Write new content for proposals and/or databases, such as project experience narratives and resumes.
- Coordinate both the scheduling and production of deliverables by working with writers.
- Interface with clients and their team partners to collect information for narratives.
- Maintain client databases of narratives for organization and accuracy.
- Develop and edit boilerplate content.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MUST have experience writing for the federal government.
- MUST have strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
- MUST be self-motivated and adaptable to learning and understanding new processes and procedures.
- MUST have a flexible schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science or another relevant field.
- Familiarity with federal or commercial proposal writing.
- Must have a strong background in areas such as Information Technology-related, Environmental, Construction, Medical, and Engineering.
