S 3 , Inc. is seeking a General Manager for our subsidiary GLSS to work at our home office in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:
- Provides management, leadership and administrative support for contract personnel ensuring that the requirements of the Performance Based Work Statements are accomplished.
- Leads a large, technically diverse team in successful execution of all contract and task order requirements.
- Appropriately handles contract workloads within established budget and schedule guidelines.
- Establishes budgets, forecasts, manpower, equipment and supply needs for the overall execution of the contracts.
- Exercises fully delegated responsibility and authority to act and communicate with current customers and potential future customers.
- Develops, pursues, and captures contract orders in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Provides oversight for all phases of the integrated capture management process including opportunity identification and qualification, win strategies and implementation, and oversight of the proposal process in collaboration with GLSS staff, proposal, contracts, and pricing personnel.
- Regularly provides corporate capability briefings to new and existing customers.
- Regularly and frequently meets with other business and government leaders in the community.
- S upports community engagements as required.
- Defines and monitors metrics and performance measures to evaluate accomplishment of contract requirements and objectives under the guidelines of Quality Management Program ISO 9001:2015/AS9100D.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience. Masters' Degree and/or PMP Certification are desirable.
- 15 years of prior management experience; 15 years or more experience managing and executing Maintenance Programs.
- 5 or more years of experience managing multiple contract orders or contract vehicles.
- Experience managing Multiple Task Orders supporting multiple different locations.
- Experience managing and executing Maintenance Programs.
- Experience developing and writing Task Order Proposals and developing and writing Contract Deliverables Items.
- Have or be able to obtain a Secret or higher security clearance.
