About the Job
General Purpose:
The GLOCK Professional Marketing Manager will assist the Director of GLOCK Professional, Inc. in developing, maintaining, and promoting a favorable public image on behalf of GLOCK Professional, Inc.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Write and edit press releases, web copy, and other promotional documents related to GLOCK Professional, Inc., and coordinate with GLOCK, Inc. Marketing to ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
- Develop social media strategies and campaigns promoting the company and its services.
- Develop monthly email communications
- Photography and videography of company services for use on company downstream channels.
- Serve as a spokesperson and appearing on-camera when needed.
- Work independently and as part of a team to execute content development based on the company vision.
- Promote brand awareness and consumer interest through commerce and promotional products.
- Establish and maintain relationships with product and design vendors.
- Ensure product compliance with registered trademarks.
- Availability for travel for GSSF matches, Training courses, and other company events/requirements.
- Analyze and control expenditures to conform budgetary requirements.
- Independently manage multiple creative projects, timelines, and deadlines.
- Work closely with the GLOCK, Inc. Marketing Department to execute strategies and campaigns that fall within brand guidelines.
- Liaison with GLOCK, Inc. personnel with the global enterprise-level DAM system for GLOCK Professional, INC. requirements.
- Maintain product knowledge within the industry.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of industry trends, emerging technology, and digital best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Job Requirements:

- Educated in the firearms safety.
- Demonstrated experience shooting and editing/producing professional photography, videos; experience using video and DSLR cameras, and microphones
- Demonstrated ability to own multiple projects from concept to completion in a fast paced, dynamic environment and respond to changing schedules and priorities; strong communication, project coordination and scheduling skills.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of social media; top trends, posts, and reels.
- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Commitment to excellence working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy.
- Preferred knowledge of drone operation and certification or willingness to learn

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications and/or Media/Content Production |
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills |
Exceptional computer skills including novice to advanced skills in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) |
2-4 years’ experience with complex social media, marketing, & PR campaigns |
2-4 years’ experience in the outdoor/firearms sector |
Proven ability to operate a variety of photography and/or videography |
Industry related experience or a solid understanding of the GLOCK brand and voice |
Purchasing, merchandising or sourcing experience a plus |
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Driver’s License |
Physical Demands:

Work Environment:
The work environment primarily requires the employee to work inside in a climate controlled administrative office setting and dress business casual in accordance with the GLOCK Employment Policy Handbook. Employee will work regularly scheduled shifts within the department’s hours of operation and will be asked to work outside, overtime and weekends, when needed for special assignments, programs, or events. This position will require the employee to be around the use of firearms in competitive and training environments.
