Position Overview
The Global Sales Operations Analyst (GSOA) manages Global sales forecast, annual budgets, compensation plan development and customer pricing. The GSOA is a subject matter on CRM development and drives analysis from both CRM and ERP systems to identify opportunities for sales growth. The GSOA is an individual contributor and trusted advisor to the VP Sales, Marketing & Business Development and works with key senior leaders on direction and growth opportunities in conjunction with product management on global pricing analysis and implementation.
Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities
- Develops annual sales budget in accordance with Senior leaders and Sales directors guidance and collaboration
- Manages monthly/quarterly sales bookings plan; gains consensus with sales directors and updates leadership of changes to plan.
- Recommends and administers annual variable compensation plan to support annual budget initiatives
- Provides monthly analysis & reporting on sales bookings performance with a deeper communication of dynamic implications on the business
- Works in conjunction with product management, finance and sales directors on price and/or gross margin opportunities on a quarterly/yearly basis.
- Responsible for ongoing pricing changes, new products and strategic price agreements
- Owns pricing integrity for all products and programs
- Provides CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365) subject matter expertise and is responsible for Global development/deployment, content accuracy (customer, opportunities & notes) and utilizes data to help deliver insights and forecasts
- Develops and reports key sales operations metrics through analysis of global historical records. The GSOA will develop and publish monthly metrics as well as key analysis projects designed to improve our business development activities.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field; Advance degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience CRM development, Analysis and Project management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in Sales operations, administration and delivering on time projects.
Other Qualifications
- Comfortable communicating and presenting to Senior leadership on forecast, analysis, and recommendations
- Strong analysis skills. This person must be able to accumulate and manipulate data from a variety of sources, define trends, and establish reports to assist the staff with the direction of our business.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and strong communicator on deliverables
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience in business-to-business in a manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, an ERP system, CRM software, Power BI and familiar with SQL queries.
- Strong organizational awareness and collaboration to ensure analysis recommendations are widely adopted.
- Highly developed attention to detail
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 25 percent of the time
