SUPERVISION: Reports to Vice President, Global Product Management & Development - Cases
SUMMARY:
Are you passionate about driving innovation and shaping products that resonate with consumers globally? We're seeking a dedicated Global Product Manager (GPM) to join our team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in driving market share growth, focusing particularly on enhancing performance in the dynamic US retail market. Your responsibilities will include crafting and executing product strategies, launching new products, and ensuring our offerings meet the unique needs of the US market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps globally, aligning with market demands and organizational goals.
Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept to market exit, optimizing our product portfolio for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Utilize market data and customer insights to drive the development of innovative products that resonate with consumers worldwide.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline the product development process and ensure timely market entry and financial success.
Partner with Regional Product Marketing Managers (RPMM) to create cohesive product strategies, tailored specifically to the US market.
Conduct ongoing market analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities, ensuring our product lineup remains competitive and compelling.
GLOBAL COLLABORATION & BRAND STEWARDSHIP:
Foster collaboration with Global Product Managers and Regional Product Marketing Managers to ensure strategic alignment and cohesive product management.
Work closely with our Global Sourcing Group (GSG) to facilitate efficient product development processes.
Champion the Targus brand, ensuring that each product reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, design, or related field.
5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of market share growth. Experience with soft cases and familiarity with US retail is advantageous.
Energetic and passionate about delivering impactful products.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
