Position Summary
The Global Payroll & Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing full cycle domestic and international payroll processing as well as assisting with benefit administration. Thie role will handle all activities related to payroll to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the payroll process per the pay schedule. The Global Payroll and Benefits Specialist will manage payroll related vendor relations and liaison between HR, Finance, Legal and Tax functions forming strong relationships across the company.
Work Schedule: This position currently follows a hybrid work model. Employees are required to work from the office at least four days per week (Monday - Thursday), with Friday available for remote work, offering a blend of in-person collaboration and flexibility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Process and administer all aspects of a biweekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now for all domestic employees. To include new hire information, terminations, tax and direct deposit information, garnishment, severance packages and other payroll related tasks as required.
- Serve as the main point of contact for global payroll and manage workflow between international local office, payroll partner, accounting and all applicable parties to ensure international payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Research domestic and international payroll discrepancies, review data and provide valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action.
- Handle payroll and benefit inquiries from domestic employees and international offices to ensure a quick, equitable, courteous resolution.
- Assist in all elements of Open Enrollment including: system set up, finalizing rates and employee contributions and organizing communications to employees.
- Prepare ad hoc payroll and benefit related reports as needed.
- Perform routine audits to ensure that benefit and payroll transactions are documented and processed per regulatory guidelines and company established pay practices and policies.
- Responsible for the Time & Attendance system to include the administration of paid leave policy, updates to the configuration, provide support to employees and supervisors as required and applicable training as needed.
- Maintain and audit domestic and international payroll system upkeep confirming data integrity.
- Collaborate with accounting for reconciliation on GL reports and time off accruals.
- Responsible for assisting with the annual 401K, ESOP, and all applicable plan audits.
- Contribute to the design, planning, and execution of company-wide employee events.
Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- 3 – 5 years of experience executing full cycle payroll.
- Experience with ADP WorkforceNow (WFN).
- Current knowledge of payroll processes, applicable wage and hour laws, payroll taxes and regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
- Collaborative approach to working with others and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely via written and verbal communication.
- Self-directed, proactive, and strong sense of personal accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ADP Celergo.
- Experience with international payroll and systems.
- Deep knowledge of benefits, tax regulations, and accounting principles.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
