Global Manufacturing Strategy Manager - Hexcel Corporation

Hexcel is currently seeking a Global Manufacturing Strategy Manager.
In this position, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our global operations and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC).This is a high-impact role designed for an analytical thinker and a passion to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement transformative changes.
You will gain a comprehensive, bird’s eye view of all functional branches within the supply chain.
The role has been structured to provide you with experiences for those candidates aspiring to Plant Leadership.
This role will report to the Senior Vice President, ISC and will be responsible for organizing and streamlining ISC staff activities in the pursuit of improved safety, quality, procurement, and operational initiatives across Hexcel.
This role may be located in any of the following regions of the U.S.
Western, Southeast, and Northeast.In this role you will…Support the SVP of ISC through optimizing metric and reporting views for future opportunities.Responsible for Hexcel's ISC Management Operating System and its optimization to strike the right balance between tactical and strategic objective reviews.Responsible for converting all plants to a set format and metric view for Site Reviews at Hexcel.Support the VP of Ops positions and learn from their different leadership approaches and how they assess plant performance.Travel globally with the SVP of ISC for MOS optimization and follow up of actions assigned.Lead Kaizen events several times annually for both Hexcel's financial benefit as well as for development of using the Kaizen approach to rapid achievement of results.Will own the completion of the monthly ISC performance review deck as well as the Annual Strategy Planning PresentationExecuting special projects at the direction of the SVP ISCWork closely with the SVP and ISC leadership team, you will have an opportunity to travel up to 50% of the time (domestic and international).What you will gain in experience:You will develop a strong understanding of all functional branches of ISC and how their metrics and goals direct tie to Hexcel's overall performance. In addition, this position will gain direct development, coaching, and support from global ISC Leadership team as part of succession planning.Qualifications:BS in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.  MBA is a plus but not required.A minimum of 7 years of operations leadership experience with increasing responsibility.Desire to become a plant manager with the ability to relocate in the future to any US Hexcel site.Experience managing plant operational metrics such as yields, up time, on time delivery, etc.We Value:10+ years of related experience.Program management experience and ability to organize and optimize for efficiency towards the achievement of complex goals.Ability to tell a story using operations data metrics and influence standardization and change.Highly skilled in executive presentation and communications.Ability to take complex problems and form scenarios of potential solutions to enable a financially based optimized outcome for Hexcel.Demonstrated capability to work and collaborate cross-functionally as well as influence without direct reporting authority.With our strong investment in research and development and our culture of continuous improvement, Hexcel is the industry leader in the manufacturing of advance composite materials, including carbon fiber, woven reinforcements, resins, prepregs, honeycombs and additive manufactured parts.
