Role
Your will be a key member of the global Human Resources team at DIH, aligning business objectives with employees and management in the field. The position serves as a partner and subject-matter expert to senior field leadership on People-related issues, serving as a “fairness” advocate and change agent. You will maintain and enhances the organization's strategic vision(s) and culture by anticipating/planning for, implementing, and evaluating People policies, programs, and practices at various Regional levels. You will also be the face of HR to various global teams in the field, and focusing on ensuring a solid connection between the field and the corporate center.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for working with Global Head of HR to deploy a fully integrated People strategy, from Acquisition to Development to Exit; serve as the face of HR to the multi-regional, global team(s); be embedded with global team(s)
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with both the field and Corporate HR teams to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Prepares employees for proper cultural assimilation, from Day #1, by establishing and conducting Orientation and On-boarding programs; help capture hearts and minds; serve as a DIH Cultural Ambassador
- Works with line manager(s) to make coaching and development of employees a daily activity; develop and deliver foundational management training programs for new leaders and managers
- Manages and resolves complex Employee Relations issues; conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations, serve as a Fairness Advocate, hearing and resolving employee grievances; counsel employees and line managers
- Assists the Global Head of HR in the design and delivery of company-wide “Training & Development” platforms, which outline base/foundational requirements, provides clear career progression, and allows for opportunities to add and strengthen skills
- Delivers and drives Talent Management programs in the field, including annual programs such as Performance Management/Goals & Objective Setting, Performance Reviews, Talent Review, and Succession Planning
- Ensures legal compliance (state, country, and regional) by monitoring and implementing applicable requirements and updates; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings, if required
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 - 10 + years of full cycle HR Generalist experience; previous experience in a matrix, multi-region/global environment
- Undergraduate Degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
- Previous experience with supporting global client groups, specifically Sales/Commercial teams; travel oriented, global mindset
- In depth understanding of all components of the Human Resources offering; Organizational Design & Development experience; Exposure to and experience with Talent Review and Succession processes
- Experience with the design and delivery of Sales Incentive programs
- Excellent understanding of HR systems, databases, and metrics; data-centric
- A bias to action; the ability to work efficiently and resourcefully in a hands-on fluid environment; a problem-solver
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding active listening skills; ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
- Global travel required (30-35%)
