The ideal candidate will possess a deep expertise in digital strategy, digital marketing, and analytics, with a history of delivering impactful, commercially-oriented digital experiences. This leader will be highly data-driven, client-focused, and adept at influencing diverse stakeholder groups across the organization and beyond. Strong leadership skills are essential to guide cross-functional teams and drive alignment toward our digital and client engagement goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & Execution
• Develop and execute a comprehensive global digital experience strategy that aligns with broader marketing and business objectives to enhance client satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
• Oversee the design and implementation of user-centered digital experiences, ensuring usability, accessibility, and brand consistency across all channels.
Team Leadership
• Lead the digital experience team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive successful implementation of digital initiatives and foster a collaborative high-performance culture.
Technical Proficiency & Optimization
• Leverage a deep proficiency in digital strategy and marketing, design and development, email marketing and automation, SEO/SEM, paid media, UX/UI design, motion design, social media, mobile development, and client journey mapping and optimization. These skills are essential for driving engagement, optimizing user experiences, and maximizing ROI across digital channels.
Data & Analytics
• Lead the data and analytics team, overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of marketing and sales data to generate actionable client and prospecting insights that foster data-driven decision-making.
• Monitor and report on the performance of digital and marketing initiatives, providing updates and strategic recommendations to the CMO and senior leadership.
• Manage client insights to understand evolving needs, preferences, and behaviors, using this data to enhance the digital experience and influence positive commercial outcomes.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities for digital innovation across channels, such as leveraging AI and predictive analytics, to continuously elevate the digital experience while fostering a culture of experimentation and maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—global marketing, technology, product development, and sales—to ensure a seamless, integrated digital experience for clients.
• Build and manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure the successful execution and enhancement of digital initiatives.
Budget & Resource Allocation
• Oversee the digital experience budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources, understanding dependencies and implications to achieve optimal outcomes and maximize ROI.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, data analytics, and client insights, preferably within the asset management or financial services industry.
• Proven track record of leading successful digital transformation projects and driving measurable results.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Highly collaborative - proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and executive teams to align initiatives and outcomes with growth objectives.
• Exhibits a strong sense of intellectual curiosity - demonstrates an ability to interpret data and analytics to measure content performance and inform strategic decisions.
