Program Manager, Global Industry Event Operations, Global Events
Global Events develops and produces memorable experiences that support Oracle’s business worldwide. As part of our next phase of growth and development, we are looking for a Program Manager, Global Industry Event Operations, to support end-to-end strategic project management for our Tier 1 industry and global business unit events.
About the Role
The Program Manager, Global Industry Event Operations, is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of Oracle’s Tier 1 third-party and proprietary events within the Global Industry Events portfolio, which represents the most complex, highest-investment industry events for the company.
Responsibilities
- Support all event logistics in planning and executing events, primarily third-party, including sponsorship and contract negotiation, budget management and POs, booth design and production, ad hoc event activities, content and messaging liaison, branding/creative liaison, AV requirements and setup, F&B requirements and setup, giveaways, booth setup and teardown, vendor staffing.
- Collaborate across a global team, including partnering with colleagues and vendors across regions to support and execute high-profile programs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cross-functional project management and delivery of outstanding customer event experiences end-to-end.
- Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with members of the extended Marketing team and other Oracle stakeholders to execute event-related marketing activities across disciplines.
- Process required documentation (contracts, POs, invoices, etc.) and system entries/updates (calendars, project management tools, etc.) for all activities on time and in compliance with Oracle policies and regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of event management experience in physical event environments; general marketing and communications background in IT industry a plus.
- Project leadership experience with a proven track record of success, including experience working in a virtual team environment across different time zones.
- Thinks strategically and keeps the big picture in mind while paying close attention to more immediate tactical details.
- A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of the planning, negotiation, and execution of physical events and marketing activities; expertise in third-party conferences.
- High level of creativity, energy, drive, enthusiasm and commitment to the customer experience and program performance.
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
