The salary range for this position is $90,134 - $112,668 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Brands has a hybrid work model with three days in office and two days remote each week.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Global Education Manager is responsible for designing and implementing specialized brand and product training content for Sephora stores globally. This role will create, implement, and customize training videos, education tools and training programs for Sephora in different global markets for consistent brand and product training worldwide. This includes driving key education initiatives such as videos, digital learning tools, training materials, facilitator's guides and training programs. This position works with various cross-functional teams including Brand Management, Creative Services, Marketing and Retail Education partners to understand brand and client needs, drive alignment and execution of all brand education initiatives worldwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives conceptualization, initiation and development of Global Education content (training materials, learning modules, education curriculum and videos) that drive education and business needs for all Kendo Brands in support of global retailer staff, Kendo International teams and Kendo's North America Field Sales Team. Create assessment methods and conduct evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Use feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve and refine educational initiatives.
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring consistency in messaging and high-quality delivery. Develop and implement hands-on workshops to provide practical experience and skill-building opportunities.
- Own 360 lifecycle of education content development and implementation (ideation, creation, review and delivery) - i.e. curate brand/product training content, copywriting and overseeing video production process from beginning to end
- Lead instructional design and creation to drive education content strategy - i.e. training platforms and modules, brand and product tools, technology-based trainings and digital tools, curriculum development related to core products and new product launches and instructional videos focused on artistry, product knowledge and client service
- Establish process and standards for writing creative briefs, kick off meetings, review sessions, content approval, and routing for all creative education content needs across all Kendo brands; must understand, and be able to develop productive relationships with Creative Teams and Designers
- Ideate, develop and execute education content and 360 activation plans to articulate brand and product storytelling, product innovation and hands-on, activity-based training modules for retail staff and Kendo Field Sales Teams
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop educational materials for customers, such as blog posts, tutorials, and videos, to increase brand awareness and loyalty. Work with product development teams to provide input on new products based on industry demands and customer feedback. Be the go-to person to support our key Instore event.
- Monitor industry trends, new techniques, and emerging technologies in the industry. Incorporate the latest advancements into the training programs to keep the company at the forefront of the industry.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years of related business experience, Beauty or Retail industry preferred.
- Experience with, and full understanding of, the Sephora concept is preferred
- Superior writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent project management skills, including proven ability to manage projects and partner with various levels in the organization

- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10-15% including various company locations, salons, and events to deliver training sessions or represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows.
