We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Global Finance to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's financial and accounting functions. This includes financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, fixed asset accounting, and revenue accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations of the company, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements, and reporting to company executives and the board of directors.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported in compliance with US GAAP.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, and ensure that these are adhered to across the company.
- Lead and manage the finance team to ensure efficient and effective performance.
- Develop strategies to improve financial processes, including cost reduction initiatives.
- Work closely with other senior executives to develop and implement strategies across the company.
- Conduct regular financial analysis, prepare detailed reports, and present findings and recommendations to company executives and the board of directors.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee the company's payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and revenue accounting functions.
- Ensure that all financial operations comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Controller, Director of Finance, or similar role with a global enterprise
- Experience in manufacturing and global finance
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and financial process improvement.
- Proficiency in accounting software, payroll systems, and other financial management tools.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial managers.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
