Global Director of Cloud and Infrastructure at Inceed

Compensation:
$170,000 - $205,000 + annual bonus (up to 30%, based on company and personal performance)

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Director of Cloud and Infrastructure to join their team! This global position offers the opportunity to set the direction for cloud infrastructure and architecture for the next decade. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic team, mentor junior staff, and take ownership of designing infrastructure strategies to support organizational growth and efficiency. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with a passion for innovation and collaboration in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure strategies to optimize performance and usability.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and professional development.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee small on-premise and Azure-based environments.
• Drive projects related to infrastructure optimization, growth, and global monitoring.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to align infrastructure strategies with security objectives.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7-10+ years of relevant cloud infrastructure experience.
• Proven experience as a technical leader in platform engineering roles.
• 6+ years in a management role, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
• Expertise in Azure, infrastructure hardware/software, and networking.
• Hands-on experience with application software development, lifecycles, and methods.
• Familiarity with multi-tenanted environments and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of AI and self-service capabilities.
• Experience with cybersecurity and disaster recovery.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
