Mitchell Glass Company is searching for a motivated and hardworking Glazier Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This role provides hands-on, paid training in both commercial and residential glass and glazing installation. While no previous glass experience is necessary, a background in construction or experience as a construction helper is highly preferred. • Installation & Repair: Transport, install, and repair various types of glass, including windows, doors, mirrors, and custom showers in both commercial and residential settings.
• Collaboration & Learning: Work closely with senior glaziers to learn the nuances of glass installation and glazing techniques, continuously developing your skill set through on-the-job training.
• Tool Proficiency: Use basic tools such as drills and tape measures efficiently, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
• Safety & Efficiency: Follow safety protocols, use lifts, climb ladders, work at heights on scaffolding, and operate boom lifts as needed.
• Site Preparation: Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Growth & Training: Take advantage of ongoing training opportunities to progress from entry-level rates to $20-$21/hr within a year.
• Work on Commercial Construction Sites and in Residential space installing custom showers.

• Preferred Background: Previous construction experience or experience as a construction helper is preferred.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit, able to lift 70+ lbs, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments throughout the year.
• Tool Use: Able to read a tape measure and operate drills with ease.
• Work Ethic: A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow a valuable skill set.
• Experience with Heights: Comfortable working at heights, using scaffolding, lifts, and ladders.
• Additional Experience: Farm experience is a plus, demonstrating a strong work ethic and reliability.
• Commitment: Willingness to start at a lower rate and work diligently through a structured training program to increase earnings.
• Valid Driver's License: Clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check are required.
• Curtain wall experience highly preferred.
• Strong stamina and  indoor and outdoor all year round
