Field Assistant – Entry Level (CAD a plus)

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Field Assistant to support our client’s operation in Fort Johnson, LA. This is a contract to hire position and a great opportunity to work on a high-profile government project.

The Field Assistant will work with company and military base personnel to take measurements, pictures and notes of the military base architectural floorplans. This information will then be used to create detailed CAD drawings of the facility.


Qualifications:

• Ability to take accurate measurements and notes
• Basic computer skills
• Physically able to walk or stand for more than 6 hours per day
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Prior GIS and/or CAD experience is preferred
