Depending on the selected applicant's location, this position can be filled in Anchorage, Juneau, or Fairbanks. Salary Information is below:
Fairbanks: $2,698.50 / Bi-Weekly
Juneau: $2,751.00 / Bi-Weekly
Anchorage: $2,619.75 / Bi-Weekly
What you will be doing:
As a GIS Analyst 3, you will manage and maintain our geodatabase, ensuring it supports the department's federal programming, reporting requirements, and performance-based transportation systems. You will develop and implement data collection programs, analyze data, and create applications to support key department business areas: Highway Safety, Traffic, Road Weather Management, Traveler Information, and Transportation Asset Management. Your work will directly contribute to improving road safety, efficiency, and traveler information, making a tangible impact on our state's transportation systems.
