General Summary:
Support the sales team by handling business sales opportunities as well as handle the follow-up to business customers for retention and customer satisfaction. Will be the main concierge/contact for customers after a sale has been installed for 30 days of follow up. Will give ongoing service to current business accounts making follow-up calls and entering up-sell orders into the system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Main point of contact for all current & upcoming business account support functions after the sale is closed.
- Provide concierge service to all current & upcoming business accounts related to customer service functions, ie: billing, payment, adding authorized acct individuals, disconnect orders, prorations, explanations, disputes, re-negotiations.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound unsolicited lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Reaches out to current expiring accounts to maintain account.
- Create & routing of qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executive for further development and closure.
- Maintain & expand prospect database.
- Delivery of sales presentations & other sales actions when needed.
- Back up to business sales support team: Scheduling installations with the customer & follow up, during/after sale.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by management. *
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of sales strategies, Sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of company policies and operating procedures.
- Knowledge of company products and services.
- Knowledge of Computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM, PRM, etc.)
- Skill in training customers.
- Skill in written communication.
- Skill in problem solving and providing customer service.
- Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent education and work experience, plus 1-3 years customer service, data entry and clerical experience. Sales experience preferred.
