Requirements of the role:

 

 

• Play key role in the overall plant improvement program – work closely with Quality group to highlight preventative and corrective actions that lead to continuous improvement in yields.
• Through close monitoring of daily area activity, ensure that all operations are completed per procedures so that resulting product meets all required quality standards. Perform periodic audits of production activities and finished product quality. 
• Oversee that all processes are clearly and thoroughly defined in documented procedures and that all hourly operators are effectively trained to follow these procedures.
• Supervise available equipment and personnel to optimize efficiency and produce scheduled parts per the agreed upon time frame.
• Must be familiar with total quality and continuous improvement methods within a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
