Position Available: Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner                                                         

Location: St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, New Hampshire

 Are you passionate about making a difference in the field of mental health? St. Joseph Hospital is seeking a dedicated PMHNP to join our Senior Behavioral Health Unit care team. This exciting opportunity involves providing compassionate psychiatric services to our inpatient population, with primary responsibilities below.

Responsibilities:

• PMHNP for inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry coverage, including:
• Daily direct patient care on Geriatric Inpatient unit 

Requirements:

• Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program in psychiatry/mental health.
• PMHNP certification.
• Unrestricted license to practice as a PMHNP in New Hampshire.
• Unrestricted DEA registration.
• State-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).
• Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
• No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP).

Additional Details:

• Mentorship by Program Director
• Hospitalist coverage for non-psychiatric medical care
