Geotechnical Staff Engineer (EIT) - NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC

NOVA Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join our team in the Raleigh, NC office. We are looking for recent Civil Engineering graduates or Civil/Geotechnical Engineers who have taken at least one Soil Mechanics class.

Duties include one or more of the following:

• Developing geotechnical scopes of work, field logging, field inspections, field investigations, and overseeing drill rig operations
• Geotechnical calculations, and preparation of reports
• Responsible for preparing project proposals, managing projects, and interfacing directly with clients

The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
• Must have an EIT license
• 0-2 years of civil/geotechnical engineering experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent project management skills and leadership ability
