We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our geotechnical projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget. This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with a team of skilled professionals, and make a significant impact on our clients' operations.
Responsibilities:
As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
1. Managing all aspects of geotechnical projects, including planning, design, execution, and closeout.
2. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that project goals are met and client needs are satisfied.
3. Preparing and maintaining project budgets and schedules, and ensuring that project expenses are kept within budget.
4. Conducting site investigations, analyzing data, and providing recommendations based on findings.
5. Preparing and presenting detailed reports on project status, issues, and outcomes.
6. Ensuring compliance with TxDOT regulations and other relevant standards and guidelines.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
8. Identifying and mitigating project risks, and resolving any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:
1. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A PE license in State of Texas and minimum of 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
3. Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
4. Experience in preparing project budgets and schedules, and managing project expenses.
5. Proficiency in using geotechnical software and other relevant tools.
6. Valid Driver License
