Geotechnical Engineering Intern (Summer 2025) - Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc.

As a Geotechnical Engineering Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) for our Cincinnati, OH location, you’ll perform engineering tasks supporting project teams to create geotechnical reports, plans, specifications, and calculation briefs for our various project and clients.  You'll have the opportunity to work in the field on site testing and construction projects, and work with other disciplines including Civil/Site, Environmental, and Surveying.  Local candidates preferred.

Through the CEC Internship Program, you will:

• Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations;
• Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities;
• Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges; and
• Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time careers.

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program. Geotechnical focus preferred;
• AutoCAD or GIS experience;
• Prior internship and/or related engineering experience preferred; and
• Local candidates preferred.
