Geotechnical Engineer at Engineering Resource Group

Description

• Permanent position for a Geotechnical Engineer.
• Conduct field geotechnical services such as site investigations quality control of various foundation systems.
• Conduct site inspection for earthwork or deep foundation inspection.
• Conduct stormwater field investigation and testing.
• Conduct geotechnical instrumentation installation and monitoring.
• Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports, including data analysis, interpretation, and recommendations.
• Utilize geotechnical software and tools to perform calculations and modeling.

Requirements

• BS Civil engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Minimum 0-3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering (including internships or co-op positions).
• Familiarity with soil and rock classification systems and geotechnical testing methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
