Job Details
As a Geotechnical Staff Engineer responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Design earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, remedial grading, landslide mitigation, and foundations
Perform site-specific seismic hazard analysis
Perform settlement analyses, liquefaction analyses, and seismic evaluations
Support field activities including logging, observation of deep foundation construction, shoring, grading operations, etc.
Project administrative tasks
Preferred Education: M.S. degree or Ph.D. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
1-3 years relevant experience
E.I.T certification
Knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals and soil mechanics
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
GIS experience is a plus
