We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of engineering projects ranging from infrastructure design, construction, and maintenance, to geotechnical and mining-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil engineering, with a particular focus on mining and geotechnical engineering.
Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and utilities.
2. Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed engineering designs and plans.
3. Conduct geotechnical investigations and provide recommendations for construction projects.
4. Participate in mining projects, including the design and planning of mining structures, as well as the assessment and management of mining risks.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met within the stipulated time and budget.
6. Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
7. Ensure all engineering projects comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
8. Continually update knowledge and skills in line with industry advancements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on mining and geotechnical engineering.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar computer-aided design software.
4. Solid knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
5. Experience in geotechnical investigations and mining-related tasks.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide effective solutions.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
9. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
