Peraton is seeking a highly skilled and motivated GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence) Analyst to support a government aviation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing geospatial data and imagery to support aviation mission planning, intelligence gathering, and operational decision-making. The GEOINT Analyst will work closely with mission planners, operations teams, and intelligence personnel to provide actionable geospatial intelligence to enhance aviation program effectiveness.
Examples of duties include but not limited to:
- Analyze and interpret geospatial data, imagery, and other intelligence sources to provide actionable insights for aviation operations.
- Use advanced GEOINT tools and techniques to process satellite and aerial imagery, geospatial databases, and terrain data to support mission planning and operational needs.
- Collaborate with mission planners, aviation crews, and intelligence teams to integrate GEOINT into aviation missions, ensuring timely and accurate intelligence support.
- Provide real-time and predictive geospatial intelligence products, including maps, terrain analysis, and 3D models, to assist with mission execution and decision-making.
- Conduct detailed analysis of imagery and geospatial data to identify patterns, threats, and points of interest relevant to aviation operations.
- Support the development of geospatial intelligence reports and briefs for senior government and military stakeholders.
- Assist with the integration of GEOINT systems and tools into aviation platforms, ensuring operational effectiveness and mission success.
- Provide expertise in the use of geographic information systems (GIS) software, remote sensing tools, and geospatial databases for intelligence analysis.
- Work with aviation engineers and operators to ensure GEOINT systems are properly aligned with operational requirements and platform capabilities.
- Support OCONUS missions and deployments, providing GEOINT analysis for aviation operations in diverse and challenging environments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GEOINT technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure the aviation program remains on the cutting edge of geospatial intelligence capabilities.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in GEOINT analysis, with at least 2 years of experience supporting aviation or military operations.
- Proficiency with GEOINT tools and software, such as ArcGIS, ERDAS, ENVI, and other relevant imagery analysis and GIS platforms.
- Strong understanding of geospatial data types, remote sensing techniques, and spatial analysis methods.
- Experience with aviation mission planning and integration of GEOINT products into operational workflows.
- Familiarity with geospatial data sources, including satellite imagery, UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) data, and reconnaissance imagery.
- Knowledge of aviation systems, platforms, and their geospatial intelligence requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex geospatial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in government or military aviation programs.
- Familiarity with military standards, protocols, and regulations related to GEOINT and aviation systems.
- Experience with geospatial intelligence in support of ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) operations.
- Prior experience with OCONUS deployments and operational analysis in challenging environments.
- Advanced knowledge of geospatial data visualization and analysis tools, including the use of 3D modeling software.
- Understanding of intelligence community reporting standards and procedures.
