General Warehouse Administrative Assistant - PeopleFirst Staffing

Administrative Assistant to support our Warehouse Manager in daily operations. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient warehouse experience and activities. Providing exceptional support to both internal staff and clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administrative Support:
• Assist the Warehouse Manager with coordinating daily warehouse operations.
• Manage and maintain warehouse documentation, including shipping plans, orders, and inventory records.
• Communication & Coordination:
• Act as a liaison between the warehouse team, customer success team, and clients to ensure smooth communication.
• Collaborate closely with pickers and packers to allocate labor efficiently and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Operational Excellence:
• Document all activities related to order processing within the internal app to maintain accurate records.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and health regulations.
• Confirm that completed outbound shipments have been picked up by the end of the day and update relevant teams on the status.
• Teamwork & Ownership:
• Support peers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Participate in team meetings to share insights, questions, or concerns.
• Inform the team of your availability and adhere to backup plans as required.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Strive for constant learning by gaining a complete understanding of warehouse management applications.
• Participate in training sessions and proactively seek opportunities for personal and professional development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate suggestions through appropriate channels.

Requirements:

• Skills & Qualifications:
• Basic computer literacy with the ability to navigate warehouse-related software and applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working physically in the warehouse, including lifting and moving objects as needed.
• Customer service oriented
