Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
As the Segment Manager, Sales and Application, General Vacuum for INFICON Americas, you are a dynamic and strategic leader responsible for driving exceptional growth, fostering customer excellence, and developing a high-performing team. Your role will be instrumental in shaping and executing strategies to achieve sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and elevate the company's position in the market. Your leadership and vision will play a pivotal role in accelerating success and contributing to the company's ongoing achievements.
This position will be fully remote ideally located in the central region of the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales, application, and service strategy for General Vacuum aligned with the over Americas’ overall goals. Lead the team in identifying market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to drive growth opportunities.
- Sales Growth: Drive revenue growth above industry standards by setting ambitious targets, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the company's market share. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and adaptability to capture untapped potential.
- Account Relationships: Foster and nurture relationships with large accounts together with the management team members. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure we exceed customer expectations and consistently deliver unmatched value.
- Account Management: Lead and develop our account management approach for large key accounts, ensuring strategic relationships, long term growth plans, contractual agreements and negotiations, and joint development programs.
- Talent Development: Develop a high-performing sales and application team through systematic talent development strategies. Coach, mentor, and guide team members to foster their professional growth and enhance their skills, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
- Customer Excellence: Establish and maintain benchmark customer excellence processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service, timely support, and tailored solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Performance Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to monitor, measure, and report on sales, application, and service performance. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to guide informed decision-making.
- Budget Management: Take ownership of budget planning and management for the sales, application, and service functions. Optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI and achieve financial objectives.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree of Science in related field (e.g. engineering, technical etc) will consider experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of three years accomplished sales experience in similar environment
- Strong business acumen, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Able to demonstrate the capability to develop and grow Key Account business and advocate on behalf of customers.
- Knowledge in leak detection is a plus
- Proven track record to meet/exceed business goals and objectives
- Ability to work from home and be a self-starter
- Customer-oriented thinking and acting
- Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and occasionally internationally when requested.
Additional Information
For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $170,000 per year with commission opportunities.In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 5%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
