Job Summary:

Urgent need for a General Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Edison, New Jersey, for night coverage in an inpatient setting.

• Schedule: 7pm - 8am shifts
• Responsibilities: No surgical first assist in the OR; focus on patient care with a load of approximately 40 patients, supported by 2 PAs during busy days.
• Procedures: VAC dressings, JP drain management; chest tube placement preferred but not required.
• Licenses: NJ license, DEA/CDS required; PA-C or Certified Nurse Practitioner certification required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in surgery.
• Compensation: $85.00 - $110.00 per hour.
