About the Job
Our client is a leading Columbus electrical contractor within the Multifamily space that is seeking to expand their team with the addition of a general superintendent. All local Columbus based projects.
Individual in this role will be responsible for planning and coordinating electrical installations for new multifamily construction projects, as well as overseeing the work and manpower of field/project foremen and crews.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate multifamily construction projects through project foremen.
- Assess, determine, and allocate manpower needs on projects.
- Assist in interviewing new field employees.
- Resolve manpower conflicts and challenges on projects.
- Meet project guidelines and expectations.
- Maintain project schedules and timelines.
- Collaborate with field, office, and pre-construction teams to maintain, update, and correct field drawings.
- Ensure daily inspections meet quality expectations and guidelines.
- Conduct performance evaluations for assigned field employees.
- Maintain knowledge of NEC Code and installed products.
Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related role.
- At least 5 years’ supervisory or management experience in electrical construction, preferably in the multifamily sector or a similar technical/construction field.
- Knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management, safety training, and contract administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project).
- Meet company driving standards.
- In-depth knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in the electrical construction industry.
- Good knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and their applications.
- Understanding of the electrical construction process, including bidding, supervision, project management, and financial oversight.
