Overview
To support our growing business, Sharp Electronics is looking for a General Sales Manager to increase sales in our Business Systems division. We are currently hiring for opportunities in our Miami area sales office.
The General Sales Manager is responsible for the sales performance and quota achievement of their assigned marketplace. This position works closely with other members of the local leadership service and operations team to develop, execute, and deliver new SHARP business strategies and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Sales Managers and their respective sales teams to achieve sales quota.
- Set and mange expectations for accountable results of sales managers on their performance against quota, key performance indicators, and sales executive actions.
- Providing written feedback regarding performance versus objectives, and clear direction on recovery actions.
- Consistently engage with existing and prospective customers
- Incorporate corporate and enterprise support focal points for major client accounts.
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with branch sales, operations, and service teams to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Educate Sales Management team on how to establish, source, and recruit a robust talent pipeline by engaging professional business networks.
- Reporting on sales activity and results through prospect pipeline analysis and sales participation management.
- Ensuring training requirements are met for all sales positions.
- Engaging formalized Performance Improvement to address non-performance as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree desired
- 7+ years outside sales experience, 3-5+ years of sales management experience preferred
- Experience selling document technology services and solutions preferred.
- Enterprise selling skills, working with key decision makers
- Experience with virtual platforms (ie. MS Teams)
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Up to 25% travel to sales branch locations within a designated territory

Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is $100,000-$120,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
