General Sales Manager
BMW of Brooklyn is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Sales Manager to join our team. The General Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets. This is a key leadership role that requires strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of success in driving sales growth. We are a high-volume store with a reputation for excellence, and we're looking for a leader who is eager to take us to new heights. Prior BMW experience not required.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Assist in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions.
- Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, fostering a competitive yet collaborative team atmosphere.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and automotive industry regulations.
- Work closely with the Finance and Service Departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team in closing deals and meeting customer needs.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of sales activities.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Conduct weekly sales meetings
- Monitor and analyze the performance of all sales advisors; ensure proper follow up of all prospective buyers by monitoring and certifying correct use of CRM system
- Continuously develop product and sales business acumen to become fluent on all things BMW. Know the ins and the outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies.
Who You Are:
Available to work flexible hours and weekends with some late nights
Comfortable with technology and learning new software; previous CRM and DMS knowledge strongly preferred
Proven auto sales and sales management experience; strong closing skills
Strong ethics, values, and leadership skills
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Self-starter with an ambitious and outgoing spirit.
Enthusiastic about learning the BMW product line.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and team members.
Strong attention to details while multi-tasking in your daily work.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment.
Reliable while working efficiently with daily tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
