Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for determining the type of fold needed for current jobs and printing all necessary paperwork. You will follow all required procedures, select folding sections, and insert the correct folding gates and blanks for the fold. You will also source printed materials for folding, set up the feeder to fit sheets, and set rollers. Additionally, you will need to ensure correct fold quality and size, install and adjust slitters or scorers if needed, and get QA sign-off for jobs. You will constantly monitor the quality and size of finished leaflets during job runs and box the folded product for application or shipping. Compliance with all departmental SOPs, company GMPs, Employee Handbook policies, and safety rules and standards is essential. Overtime work may be required to complete tasks. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Determine the type of fold needed per current jobs.
+ Print all necessary paperwork for the job.
+ Follow all required procedures.
+ Select folding sections to be used.
+ Insert correct folding gates and blanks for the fold.
+ Source printed materials for folding.
+ Set up feeder to fit sheets.
+ Set rollers.
+ Set fold gates to ensure correct fold quality and size.
+ Install and adjust slitters or scorers if needed.
+ Get QA sign-off for jobs.
+ Monitor quality and size of finished leaflets during job runs.
+ Box folded product for application or shipping.
+ Comply with all departmental SOPs, company GMPs, Employee Handbook policies, and safety rules and standards.
+ Work overtime as needed to complete tasks.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of printing production is a plus.
+ Experience with gluing systems and glue detection systems is a plus.
+ Experience with setting up sensors, scanners, and vision systems is a plus.
+ Packaging experience in the pharmaceutical or food packaging industry is a plus.
+ Ability to use a computer to navigate and understand specifications.

The work environment is climate-controlled, humidified, and regulated per government standards. While performing the duties of this job, you will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and print chemicals. The work involves frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, and the noise level is moderately high. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 2 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday to Thursday. Training will be provided from 5 AM to 1 PM, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
