General Production Associate
Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour
Shift: Day Shift
Job Summary:
The General Production Associate plays a critical role in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality doors. This position involves operating machinery, assembling doors, inspecting products for quality, and performing various tasks to ensure production efficiency. Successful candidates will demonstrate attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate small and large machinery used in the door production process.
- Assemble doors on the production line, adhering to quality standards.
- Inspect all products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Machine doors for hardware installation as required.
- Prepare and handle materials for production tasks.
- Stage and package finished products for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned, including cleaning and organizing the workspace.
- Follow all prescribed safety rules and maintain equipment in good working order.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial woodworking, including doors, millwork, or cabinets.
- Background in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- General knowledge of building materials and their applications.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and use hand-held measuring tools accurately.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.
