We are looking for individuals with attention to detail and strong hand and eye coordination. Must be safety and quality focused, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-speed equipment, basic reading and math skills, ability to think logically and work in a team environment. Previous manufacturing experience a plus. Ability to work full shift. Attendance Incentive paid weekly. Night Shift differential. 10 hour and 12 hour shifts available, some rotating days.
General Production as a Feeder/Packer:
The feeder/packer is a production worker that takes printed blanks/flat cartons and neatly places then into the machine to be formed and glued. They then pull the cartons/product that has been formed and glued by the machine in a predetermined machine count, inspect the newly made cartons, place them in customer packaging and prepare them for shipping.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Feed according to operator instructions
Inspect cartons and pack according to specifications
Fan every handful checking for defects
Must be able to pack at a speed which keeps up with the machine
Must be able to pick up at least 75 cartons at a time
Houskeeping in your work area
Watch and listen for jam-ups, inform operator of any problems
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to read, understand and follow job jacket instructions
Must have basic math skills
Able to tolerate repetitious work
Ability to lift and handle at least 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for 10 or 12 hour shifts
