Position Details:

• Title: General Manufacturing Laborer - Prophy
• Schedule: 2nd Shift - 3:00pm-11:30 pm, M-F. This position participates in our Summer Hours Program. The schedule is 3:00pm-1:30am M-Th through August 30th. 
• Location: Myerstown, PA (17067)

Position Overview:

The General Manufacturing Laborer will assemble, process, test, pack, label, & repair product.

Essential Functions:

Daily duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Weighing ingredients.
• Mixing and blending of ingredients.
• Filling, sealing, labeling, and packaging of various containers.
• Complete specific tasks as assigned or as outlined in the department production batch sheets.
• Report all suspected non-conformances to production manager.
• Accurately record detailed documentation. 
• Thorough and complete cleaning of equipment and work areas. 

Qualifications:

• Must have good attention to detail to ensure product quality is maintained throughout processing
• Must have mathematical and administrative skills i.e., processing of paperwork, maintaining files, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and across the Company.

Education/Certifications:

• High School Diploma or completion of GED equivalent.

Safety:

• Complies with all safety regulations; always maintains a safe work environment. 
• Adheres to always wearing the proper PPE/Safety equipment. 
• Understands and complies with all written safety, health, and environmental procedures. 
• Attends all required scheduled Health, Safety and Environmental training sessions. 
• Participates in required Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and programs. 
• Perform required administrative functions related to Health, Safety and Environmental functions such as completing forms, checklists, and log sheets.

• Physical Demands:  Employee is required to walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend; kneel and climb.  The employee must regularly lift and move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 – 50 pounds.
• Work Environment: This job primarily operates in a manufacturing environment.  There is a moderate level of noise, heat, dust, dirt, and fumes.  Employee frequently works near moving mechanical equipment and chemicals and will be exposed to varying temperatures.
